Crystal Busenbark is finishing her degree in Peace and Justice Studies at Utah Valley University. She is the Utah County Chair of High Road for Human Rights, the president of the UVU Peace and Justice Club, a member of Students Against Militarism and an avid human rights activist. She lives in Provo, Utah and is the mother of four beautiful children.

Cory Bushman is a peace and human rights activist, a member of the LDS church and lives in Provo, Utah.

Kristen Kinjo-Bushman served an LDS mission in Hungary. Kristen is currently a student of Philosophy.

Tyler Snow Bushman served an LDS mission in Puebla, Mexico. He is a Permaculture designer / Appropriate technology welder. He is currently working on starting a non profit that will work in the State of Chiapas Mexico in Zapatista communities. Its goal to be to help strengthen their autonomy through doing workshops on appropriate technology and Permaculture design, including workshops on Food Forests, Sustainable food yielding gardens, and bike powered machines.

Emily Jane Bushman resides in Provo & is currently teaching her two beautiful children how to swim. She served an LDS mission in Moscow, Russia & received her Bachelors degree in Ornamental Horticulture from Utah State University.

Ricky Cheney served an LDS mission in Paraguay, Asuncion North and has translated and interpreted the indigenous language Guarani for the church. He is a bio-centric, feminist, anarcho-mormon who enjoys riding his bicycle and interacting with his community in all the forms of species he happens to encounter. He has organized many community events such as a film series and public forums highlighting issues such as Torture, Immigration Reform, and Sex-ed Reform.

Tristan Call recently graduated in anthropology and Latin American studies from Brigham Young University. He is currently working full time for the Nader for President campaign and raising tomatoes and honey bees in urban Salt Lake City.

Noam Chomsky is a world renowned political activist, writer, and professor of linguistics at Massachusetts Institue of Technology, where he has taught since 1955. His works include Manufacturing Consent, Profit Over People, and A New Generation Draws the Line. Chomsky’s efforts for greater democracy are celebrated by peace and social justice movements worldwide.

Jeremy Cloward is a member of the LDS Church and works as a computer programmer in Salt Lake City.

Jay Dawkins is an active duty member of the U.S. Army currently serving in Iraq. He received a Bachelor's degree in political science from Brigham Young University.

Norman G. Finkelstein received his doctorate in 1988 from the Depart ment of Politics, Princeton University, for a thesis on the theory of Zionism. He’s currently an independent scholar. He has written numerous books, including Image and Reality of the Israel-Palestine Conflict, The Rise and Fall of Palestine, and The Holocaust Industry.

Bruce Gagnon is the coordinator of the Global Network Against Weapons and Nuclear Power in Space. He lives in Bath, Maine. www.space4peace.org

kristina grace k. lives in Northern Virginia with her partner and young son with whom she co-edits the anarchist journal, Rebel Stew. She grew up in a home with queer parents and in the GLBT community in the DC Metro area. kristina has been involved in a wide range of activism since the age of 12 including queer liberation, radical feminism, and animal rights. She currently works as a full-time mother, a part time yoga teacher and as a student doula and childbirth educator. She has identified as an anarchist for seven years and for three of those years has been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Tariq Khan resides in northern Virginia with his partner and new born baby, where he co-edits the anarchist journal Rebel Stew. He’s been involved in a wide spectrum of anti-authoritarian work ranging from animal/earth liberation to prisoner support to immigrants rights and fighting racism. He’s a military veteran and has been involved with various anti-militarism efforts such as supporting troop and veteran resistance and counter-recruitment work. He’s also played in some Washington DC area anarcho-punk bands.

Peter McMurray served an LDS mission in Croatia. He graduated from Harvard University with a degree in Slavic Studies. He is currently completing a master's degree in music at Brandeis University.

Abdullah Mulhim is a Palestinian Muslim from Ramallah in the occupied West Bank. He received a degree in Finance from Arizona State University.

Spencer Kingman is a member of the LDS church and an anti-war activist. He lives in Provo, Utah where he studies math education at Utah Valley State College and works with disabled people at a recreational program called RAH.

Joshua Madson served an LDS misson to Marilia, Brazil. He has a bachelors degree in History from Brigham Young University and a Juris Doctorate from the J. Reuben Clark Law School. Joshua currently serves as an Elder’s Quorum Instructor.

Ron Madson served an LDS mission to France-Switzerland. Ron received a bachelors degree in English from BYU and a Juris Doctorate from the J. Reuben Clark Law School in 1981 and has practiced law in Nevada and Utah for the past 27 years.

Ashley Sanders is the youth spokesperson for the Ralph Nader campaign. She blogs at www.projectdeseret.com and www.theworldaccordingtoash.com. She graduated from Brigham Young University in philosophy and English, and is currently earning a Master's degree in English literature and creative writing at Middlebury College.

Forest Simmons earned his PhD in mathematics from UT Austin 1981. He graduated from BYU with a BS in Math and Physics in 1977, served as an LDS missionary in the Argentina South Mission from November 1970 to November 1972, served in Vietnam from August 1967 to September 1969 as an enlisted man in the US Army, and is a lucky husband, father, and grandfather in a wonderful extended family.

Mathew Thomas lives and works in Salt Lake City.

Gregory VanWagenen is a secular Mormon. In the past he organized for the Militant Labor Forum in Salt Lake City and Los Angeles. He has also worked as a campaign volunteer for the New Democratic Party in the Burnaby-Kingsway (British Columbia) riding. He has three children.

Will Van Wagenen earned his Bachelors Degree in German from Brigham Young University, and his Master’s degree in Theology from Harvard University. Will spent seven months in Iraq doing human rights work in 2005-2006.

Matthew Wappett is an assistant professor at the University of Idaho where he teaches Disability Studies. He is a returned missionary from the Taiwan, Taipei mission and has served in many Church callings since, including a couple years as first counselor in the bishopric of the Eagle River Ward in Eagle River, Alaska. He is an active supporter of the Green Party and an "academic" Marxist by trade.

Stephen Wellington is from England. He served an LDS mission to Capetown, South Africa. He is currently studying Medicine at the University of East Anglia. Stephen grew up in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia and lived there during the First Gulf War.

Marc B. Young is a freelance writer most recently focused on health care policy and, prior to that, African issues. Poetry is his chief interest. A resident of Madrid, Spain between 1994 and 2004, he presently lives with his family in Toronto, where he is a member of the Industrial Workers of the World and attends an Anglican church.
